AUTHENTICITY STANDARDS
Authenticity is the foundation of a living history organization. In order to create "living history" one must take great
pains to research and accumulate the items needed to bring to life
the time period one is representing.
Our unit goes to great lengths to accurately re-create the experience
of the average American foot soldier in the Second World War. From
our authentic period camp and the rations we eat in the field, to the
clothing and equipment we wear on our backs, we strive to be an exact
living recreation of an American rifle platoon during the Second World War.
To do so requires a collection of period clothing, equipment, and weapons, which
are described on these pages.
